In fact by going to the Content Manager/mods first before I load up a save game, seeing which mods are currently active helps remind me at what stage I was at lol. Starting a good habit of turning them on and off so that you only use the ones you need when you need them will save you potential trouble later if you always leave them on. ![]() Remember to turn them off again after that session. I still maintain that devs that lock their workshop in such a manner are bastards, but it's likely this is just the default configuration for the workshop. You can activate and deactivate the mods you want to use while playing. I'd contact the game's devs and get them to unlock their workshop, as that way you can at least use Steam Workshop Downloader websites/plugins to get the mods without having it on Steam.
